I am a music teacher and have an excellent, great looking, serviced flute for the advancing student, a mint Buffet Cooper Scale open holes for $400. It comes with holes plugs so it can also be played just like a student closed hole, and allow the player to gradually move to open holes one at a time. Perfect for the advancing high school player or the adult needing to go to the next level without spending a fortune. I also have other beginner flutes, a Yamaha 221 for $400, a Jupiter for $350, an Armstrong 102 for $250 and an Artley for $260.
I cannot overemphasize the importance of getting a serviced instrument, especially if you're a parent who doesn't know much about musical instruments. A serviced instrument has been professionally cleaned inside and out, all pads that were torn or leaking or old have been replaced, it is also fine-tuned for easy and optimal performance, and let me tell you that this is the most important factor at play to encourage your child to practice and keep going. A non-serviced flute is often hard to play, not all notes come out and sound isn't good. I am an expert and can help you a lot. No bad surprises with me.
I have all sorts of band instruments, the common ones and some more rare or bigger (tuba, E flat and alto clarinets, baritone/euphonium, cornets) that are the best brands, and GUARANTEED to be without issues or I repair at no charge.
Email, call or text it will be my pleasure to provide you with help, advice and great no-pressure service.
