I was a band teacher for over 2 decades, I play and teach all wind instruments (except oboe and bassoon). I love teaching beginners or intermediate wind players from Gr. 6 up to Gr. 12. I can really help them flourish in their class and take up first chairs and more challenges like Sask Music Festival competition.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Brass performance from McGill University and used to play professional trumpet in symphony orchestras. I also play and teach acoustic, electric and jazz guitar (intermediate to advanced students) and beginner bass.
I have openings in September, mostly Saturday mornings, and I teach in my basement studio in the south end. I charge $100 per month (4 or 5 30-minute lessons) and I am looking for students who will study the whole school year, not just a few weeks or months.
