This guitar is in like new condition except it has a crack on the top caused by lack of humidity in the store. It is only cosmetic and will go nowhere. Now you can have a guitar you're not worried to take to camp or the lake! It sounds loud and full, has a solid top, has brand new strings on and comes with sturdy (and well decorated!) hard case!
It was a lefty that I carefully changed into a right-handed. I can apply new pickguard at no cost if you want. Everything sounds and looks great, no buzzing, perfect low action, great looks and has that Godin quality.
The Songsmith is Made in Canada by internationally renown Godin Guitars, top quality materials were used including Select Pressure Tested solid spruce top, Wild Cherry back and sides, Canadian silver leaf Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Other features are Integrated Set neck system, wood inlay rosette, contoured headstock, cream double binding, a double function truss rod and Tusq nuts and fully compensated saddles.
There is a clean crack on top as shown in pics, that's why I'm giving it away (retails $369 + tx without case). It won't move and could easily be glued. But it doesn't affect sound or playing. It sounds awesome!
